Serving your Turkey tips
1. Rest Before Carving
Let the cooked turkey rest for at least 30–45 minutes, loosely tented with foil.
This locks in juices and prevents the meat from drying out when sliced.
2. Carve at the Table for Presentation
Bronze turkeys have a beautiful golden skin and well-defined shape—carve at the table to impress guests.
Use a sharp carving knife or electric knife for clean slices.
3. Serve with Complementary Sides
Their deep flavor pairs best with:
Roasted root vegetables (carrots, parsnips, turnips)
Cranberry-orange relish (cuts through richness)
Herby stuffing with sage, thyme, and wild mushrooms
Gravy made from pan drippings and giblets
4. Temperature Matters
Serve the white and dark meat slightly warm (not piping hot) to best appreciate the texture and flavor.
Keep sliced meat warm in a low oven (~70°C / 160°F) if needed.
5. Offer Both White & Dark Meat
Bronze turkeys have exceptionally flavourful dark meat—plate a mix of both for a balanced experience.
6. Garnish for a Festive Touch
Add fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme), citrus slices, or pomegranate seeds around the platter for colour and aroma.
